Volunteers Needed - Ohio - 2011 Season

We will be needing volunteers at my church retreat center & youth kid's camp for next year - May-Sept.(flexible).

Camp is located near the heart of Amish Country & Mohican State Park. Location to Cleveland & Lake Erie Islands within 1 1/2-2 hour drive. Camp McPherson is seeking warm & friendly couples to work 12 hours each per week in exchange for FHU site, Wi-Fi & laundry allowance. Easy care facilities, beautiful working atmosphere. Positions available in general maintenance, cleaning, laundry, housekeeping, pool and grounds maintenance, bathroom cleaning. Bonus: free firewood & meals during scheduled work hours. We do not live far from there and we camp in that area every year with our local group. It is a great area and a very nice campground.

Thanks Rich for the nice comments about the Mohican area. Yes, it is a great area, especially for the canoeing. We hope to get some volunteers at our church camp for the summer. It's a good location being only about 2 hrs. from Columbus, Cleveland, Lake Erie Islands and Cedar Point as well as real close to Amish country. If you know anyone who might be interested, please have them contact us. We still haven't made a rally and are currently in Leesburg, FL, so busy workamping (our choice) haven't even made a luncheon. Maybe we'll get to meet some fine Moc folks this year.
We did get to meet you and Helen when we stopped at Mouse Mountain two seasons ago.
