Snow Bird Special along I-29 (SE ND)

Just discovered this one and thought that it might be a good deal for folks using I-29.

Location: In the City Park at Hankinson, North Dakota; one block south of the E-W highway through the Town. About eight grass sites.
Hankinson is 3 miles west of I-29 and about 10 miles north of the South Dakota state line.

Description: In a well maintained City park. Well lighted. Good access. Quiet. Next to residential area. Appears secure.

30 amp power. No other utilities. I suspect that water can be obtained in the park. Dump station? Unknown. Rest areas along I-29 will have these. $8.00 per night. No attendant. Park Maintanence person must monitor this place. Deposit fee in slot per sign. Use your own envelope.

Remarks: Easy in and out. Can handle 36' 5th wheel. Will almost always have space.
Gas and diesel fuel available during day nearby. Grocery store on main street of Town during day and open on Sunday. At least during summer and fall.

A few miles to the south along I-29 the gambling casino also takes in RVs. Don't know fee if any.

Happy Camping.
