Quartzsite Historical Society booth

If able to stop by the Quartzsite Historical Society both in the big tent at the RV show be sure and say "Hi" to my parents. They live in Quartzsite year round and will be working the both Monday from 9 till 1. They have a lot of knowledge of the area and could point you to some local interesting sites. So stop by and say hi to Don and Lois.

I do not know if they will be working the booth tomorrow. But dad said he was out in your area a few days ago and said there was quite a few Montana's in your circle. I know he spends a lot of his time in the desert west of Highway 95 from where you are parked as this area was used for desert training for Patton's troops. There is a lot of spent ammo and items from that time he has located. It is handy to live in that area and have a Jeep with the time to explore all the gold mines. So as you can see when I will be retiring I will be pulling my Montana into one of his 3 full hookup sites at the house in town. I just hope to retire sooner than later!!
