A friend, who just replaced his DirecWay Internet system with a local wi-fi system, has the equipment for sale. It includes the dish, antenna, and the model DW-6000 modem (the same one that HamRad and I have).
This system has been in use, with no problems, but he is taking advantage of a new local service that offers greater speed at lower cost. Since he doesn't travel, he doesn't need the DirecWay.
He is offering it for $100 plus actual cost of shipping. Estimated shipping weight is under 50 lb, but since both units are currently mounted, it'll be a little while before I can confirm that.
Ask around, this is a great way to get Internet on the road!
PM me if you want it or have questions.
I also have the OPI meter, used once, for sale for $75, which includes shipping.
Here's a description of it: Outdoor Pointing Interface - OPI - An installer's tool that relays the signal strength and cross polarization values from the computer over the cable to the dish. Makes it easy to adjust dish when there's just one person, even easier when there are two (no yelling back and forth or using radios or cell phones). Includes filter, short jumper cable, and manual.
