Toilet Cleaners/ SSI disability

Hi My wife has just lately been dumping the Black and grey water. I found her cleaning the bowl with Lysol Cling with ammonia. Does anyone know if this will make problems with the seals or valve in the Black Tank. I would not like to take on the job of dropping the belly and pulling the tank. 2nd Question my wife has been trying to get on SSI disability. Today we got a decision that she was approved with the Medical portion but they have still not make the Non medical decision, we don't understand what that means has anyone out there ran into this with anyone you know. If so what does that mean. Thanks As always for your wise input.

That means they are going through the wages and work history to make sure she has enough time worked to receive benefits. It should not take to long now to find out. It took them 4 weeks to say I was disabled medically but 2 months to get my wages and history, but mine was a little more complicated. If you applied in person and it has been a month since you have heard from them I would give them a call to see if something is holding it up. Hope this helps as I know it is a slow process..

What Larry said. If it is truly SSI vs SSA they are checking your resources and income. It shouldn't take them too long. If it is SSA then they are checking your work history to see how much you have paid into the system so they can compute your benefit amount. Good luck. Dennis

We applied last Nov and just now hear that, they approved the medical disability. When we signed up the agent used my wife's SSN and said the amount she would get. So we shall see in a few weeks about benefits, her neurologist and the anti seizure meds are expensive. It would be nice to have some of that covered. Thanks for the info.
