Thanks, Lonnie.
Joe, I'm not familiar with those tires. Maybe Lonnie will see your question. In any case, they're not made in China so that's in their favor.

I am waiting for pricing, with a trade of my china bombs, Hercules E rated @ 3520lbs @ 80 psi. These are made in USA. Any comments on these tires.

Hi Joe,
Is that 3052# on those 80# Tires? I was thinking you might have hit the wrong button.
On edit, you are right, that is a heavier weight than my old Missions. Your tires?: ST235/80R16 -- BLK 3520 30.80 -- -- $122.00 ea

I have Firestone Transforce going on my third year. I have been very satisfied with them. They will need to be changed due to age before the threads are worn out.

Joe, I don't have any experience with the Hercules trailer, passenger, or light truck tires, so I can't give you an opinion good or bad. Their earth moving equipment tires have left a bad taste in my mouth.

I appricate your input. I rec'd a call to day that they could not price the hercules, but did price a brand with the same specs "Road Rider" at a price of $611.00 installed, taxes and bal.
Good price not sure about the tire. I think I will go look at them tomorrow or the first of the week.Do some research first.

Ozz, when Mission Tire people replaced our defective Mission tires they sent us a full set of Freestar tires. Same size. Same Load Range E rating. Same 80 psi max. But the sidewall showed a significantly higher rating. That 3520 lbs he mentions sure rings a bell although I cannot remember the exact number. The Freestar was a physically noticeably heavier tire by a bunch. But they didn't last any better than the Mission or the Goodyear Marathons. In fact, it was a Freestar that blew out the side of our kitchen slide to the tune of $2100. Plus tires.
