Foot Pedal on Toilet

Has anyone on the forum figured out how to keep the screws tight on the foot pedal??? I have to tighten them every couple of weeks if not more often.. any suggestions..????

You could use blue lok-tite--not red it won't eveer come loose. I also use some nail polish to hold screws tight on occassion. nail polish holds but not as mch as the lok-tite.
