Slide Oots creep out .
Fellow Montana owners. I have a 2008 3400RL Fifth wheeler. I have recently been experiencing the slide outs creeping out while going down the road. This would be on the drivers side. Generally all three slide in this side will come out a little ways, maybe as much as 4 inches.
I have devised a way to keep them in but dont like this temporary fux.
Have not received any help from dealer on this problem. Has anyone had and repaired this problem?

Sounds like the check valve in the pump.

Adding further to the above reply ... it may be any one of the cylinders piston seal or a leaking hose or fitting. If you haven't experienced any fluid loss, then back to pump or cylinders. The way the system is plumbed, any one cylinder seal or the check valve issue can effect all slides. Isolating the cylinders is somewhat difficult as part of the belly has to be dropped down ... one feed hose directly off the pump manifold tees off to more than one cylinder. Isolating the pump to test for a check valve leaks would be much easier. A final note ... the pump runs one way to extend the slides and the opposite way to retract them ... there are no directional valves.

Thank you for your ideas regarding the slide outs. If I put a wedge under the edge of the bed when the slides are all in seems to keep all slides in????? The oil resevoir does not seem to be dropping down in level.

I had this problem twice on my 2005 2955RL. The first time it was the cylinder on the large slide leaking internally. The second time they replaced the hydraulic pump under my extended service plan. No charge either time and that took care of the problem.
