Help - no 12v power after disconnecting 110 cable

I'm all hitched and loaded , ready for a 5 day Boondocking trip.
Supposed to leave in 30 minutes!
Just unhooked the 110 shore power cable and stowed it.
Went inside the trailer, and I have no 12v lights!
Slides, jacks and awning still work tho.
Checked all fuses and breakers, all are good.Even plugged into my truck I have no lights.
None of the lights on the electrical panel will work either( battery, tank levels etc.)
Please help !
Thanks in advance.
Dan

Check your battery bypass switch in the convince center.

Ok, flipped the disconnect to on, and BAM I have battery power!
Why the heck can't Keystone label it differently.

Thanks Steves!

Reminds me of me! I resorted to using the 12v light in the convenience center as my on/off indicator. That way i don't have to remember what is labelled correctly.

Hey Steves... I forget, but the convenience bypass is supposed to turn off the 12v to the interior of the rig, only, correct? Isn't 12v still available for the jacks, landing gear, driving lights and brakes? I know that the 12v rig battery is crucial for being fully charged and available when towing, but other than using the convenience switch for the interior 12v needs, it can be "off" when towing, correct?

Yes I think you are correct. The one issue you may have towing with the switch disconnected is the 12V feed for the refrig to operate.

remember electric basics, on means "on" you have power, just like your house switches.

Don't feel bad about asking. If you go back a few years you'll find a thread with me in the same panic mode. If I knew electric basics I'd be an electrician's helper so to me on meant it was doing it's job.

Yes, Steves. That's why I brought up that I thought the disconnect disabled all the 12v stuff inside the rig (the propane detector, too? I dunno).

If one wants to tow with any of the interior appliances on their 12v mode (like the water heater, furnace or fridge that also use propane), the disconnect switch must be set to enable the rig. This would also be a quick way to turn off these propane appliances when at a fuel station or approaching a bridge - you don't want these arcing trying to alight. I only run with the fridge and turn it off, but a disconnect switch would be easier.

I hope the OP finds what works.

When I'm in doubt on how something is supposed to work and the figure out what or how it is supposed to be, I use a magic marker to add my own reminders at the switch or knob.

I'm going to take a permanent marker to mark ours "12v" and "no 12v." The factory labeling is definitely confusing.
