Microwave/Convection Oven gone dark
Hey gang,
2018 3950BR Montana here. Over the stove is a High Pointe EC942K9E microwave/convection combo. We full time and it's been fine since we got our unit last June.
This morning, however, it went dark. No power in the unit.
Seems to be an internal issue. No GFCI interruption, full 50amp power on both buses, power at the outlet used by this unit is working fine.
So, before I dive into warranty work, does anyone know if this is a common or easily resolved issue? (on-board fuse or something?) I don't see much on the forums. Maybe I lost the board or something, but I've learned that it's best to ask here before I start the official process.
Any input would be appreciated.

internal short - probably loose wire. Replaced ours after about 6 months with same problem.

Did you have to go through a dealer to replace it?

We had our selling dealer replace it when we took it back in for other fixes

I have a different brand and much older but dear wife put a pan with metal in it and hit microwave. Lasted all of two seconds. I had to remove the oven from the wall and replace a fuse. Luckily nothing else and it has run fine now for three years.

I pulled the unit and it looks like the 20a fuse had blown. Wife will be home with the replacement shortly. Hopefully that'll be it.

Success. Huzzah!
Note to future readers (and future me). The fuse is behind the front panel, above the keypad. Looks like you can take the faceplate above the door off, remove two screws on the guard above the keypad and the 20a fuse is right there.
Also, on an unrelated note, I had to replace the glass turntable this week as well. Trekwood wanted $142 for that part. That's just abusive. Amazon had it here for $35.

Well crap. It ran for a few uses then went dark again. /sigh
I see a warranty fix in my future.

We have some members that regularly steer people to Trekwood for some reason. I would ONLY use them for something no one else has for the very reason you state.
