FYI for Water Heater Access, 3400RL
Had the check valve on the waterheater in our 3400Rl go bad. While trying to access the back of the water heater through the little cut out access holes and planning all sorts of mayhem to get to it, like cutting the panel out as seen in previous posts, I found that none of this is necessary.
On the back side of the cabinet (lining room side) open the cabinet doors, the floor of the compartment is held in by 4 screws, remove those and you have access to the back wall and end panel, each held in by 2 screws each. Remove these and you have full access to the water heater, drain lines, etc. Saved me loads of time.
