Las Vegas
Looks like me might be headed to Las Vegas during Thanksgiving... Any suggestions on a RV park or even better RV resort. Last trip we stayed at CIRCUS-CIRCUS,

RL - same here but I'm not even sure the Circus Circus still has a lot, or else they moved it.
Try the Oasis RV Resort. A few MOCers just left there and said it was nice.

It is a very nice park, you will enjoy it. The Bass Pro Shop is across the highway from it and it is a nice candy store for the guys.

Last time we were there, we stayed at Sam's Town. Nice park, with a shuttle bus to the Strip. They have a casino on site, with some nice restaurants, etc. too. Circus Circus has sold their campground to KOA. We didn't care for it, as it was just an asphalt parking lot with no trees.

Scattershot,
I guess that's why I called the Circus Circus a "lot" instead of "park" by mistake, it was just asphalt with hookup pedestals. Man did that blacktop get hot!
I do remember working my way back to the RV one night only to find that on either side of me were two huge boats in the campspots with shorelines plugged in. I imagine they just came off Lake Mead, but it was unusual to see people camping in boats in an RV park. They did offer nice shade for me, as they had to have been at least 38' each.

Circus Circus is still there, or was last May when we stayed there. We were not impressed with it. As Scattershot said, it's all asphalt. It does have a few trees on select "premium" sites but those are booked way in advance. I read in one of the rv magazines a letter where someone said they go to Circus Circus rv park frequently and consider it the best park they've ever stayed in. That sure makes me wonder where else they've stayed. It went on our don't return list. The only positive for it is you are on the Strip and don't have to find a parking place to walk the Strip.
