Water on counter behind stove

Help! We have a 2007 Monty 3075, with the Stove and Refrigerator in a slide together. In back of the stove where the counter continues we have been discovering water but can't figure out where it is coming from. It's not the window (small window above counter) but below the refrigerator where it is carpeted, it is soaking wet. So, I am fairly sure it is the refrigerator but when I look at the rear of the unit I don't see any sign of ice or water build-up. Had anyone had this problem and what can I do to stop it? Thanks for your input. John

We have a similar problem. I found out when it's raining out & wind blowing against stove vent, water comes in at that area. Outside vent should have more of a shield on it...poor design.
Check yours....some people have covered the outside vent completely with plastic to temporary stop the leak.

This problem has been discussed previously on the forum. The refrigerator vents are most likely your problem. Someone had a fix involving adding a piece of aluminum angle on the inside bottom edge of the vent to keep the water from coming in. Here is the link to Waynem's fix of the problem:

Hope this helps,

We had the same problem on our 2006 2955RL. It turned out to be the exterior stove vent. It was not sealed on the top edge, and every time we washed the rig, or it rained, we got water inside the unit.

I am thinking it is going to be something not sealed correctly. We also have an '07 3075RL. We have been in some very heavy rain storms, both while camped and while driving, and have never had any leaks at all.

Thanks for the link to the earlier Fix. I will give it a try. Off to Lowes, again.

While you have the refrigerator vent panels off, you might want to put some window screening over their openings on the inside to keep wasps and other insects out.
