PJ, why are you going to Carthage MO? Lots of family history there for me.
Happy trails........................

PJ,

We have stayed there, but only for an over-nighter. Arrived min-aftrenoon, and really enjoyed it. Just a nice out of the way place. Free WiFi. Great owners. After talking with them about the area we made the comment that we should plan to stay a couple of days next time. Sounded like there are some neat things to see there. It apparently has some rich history in the area.

Happy camping

I, too, stayed there for an over-nighter, twice, a year apart, while working my way back west in the fall after MOC and Escapade rallies. Friendly folks, nice pull-thru level gravel sites, easy access from the freeway but quiet and peaceful. Watch out for that sharp right turn off the access road, though. Good Mexican restaurant in town.

We had an over nighter there once on the way to Branson. Very nice campground and very friendly people. Wish we could have stayed longer. Make sure you go to Precious Moments! Well worth the time.
