Great photos - thanks.
I spent only 4 years in the USAF, but attended my brother-in-law's 22 year navy retirement ceremony, a lot like the one you photographed.
It is a proud/sad/goose-pimple time.
Congratulations to him and to you. I hope he likes "civvy" life.
We hope to see you on the road again.
Larry

Phil,
You are right. George Jr is my younger brother. My parents named him George Jr because his birthday is 19 Jul and mine is 20 Jul. LOL. Thanks for the compliment.
Thanks to all of you for the congratulations and well wishes.

George and Rosetta
It's a good thing he's photogenic like his mother!!
You both have reason to be so very proud and you look like you both are. A fine job in raising a fine soldier.
Also, thank you for the kind words.

I, too, am an Army brat. I have seen the sacrifices that military life requires of the whole family. Congratulations to George,Jr. and to the whole clan. The pictures are great! Strong families ... strong military ... strong country. We honor them all.
Thanks, Lynne

George and Rosetta,
Thanks for posting the pics of your son's retirement...fine looking young man with a beautiful family. You are both justifiably proud of him. Camilla and Michael

Robin and I send our best wishes for a great and happy retirement.
Service to OUR country may not be honored by all but those who do serve should and do rate a place in all of our hearts without them we would not be a free country.
God bless them all

Thanks. He may have hie Mom's good looks but he is a true chip off the old block. Even though serving our great country is an honor, it is a good feeling to see him retire.
