Computers?

This is the first time I will have a puter
full timing. Always went bare bone essentials before.(you know beer, fishin stuff, tools, clothes, beer) (oyea food) So how do you setup these brainbusters? Do you use the TV as a monitor? I don't have a laptop so thats out, and my tower's a biggun. Any ideals or suggestions ? Biggest problem right now is I don't even have the unit yet to measure the space available (just came in yesterday) so I'm workin blind ( been doin that for 40 years so I'm used to it)
