That's how the storage lot did it when they were calculating our storage fee. Works every time. As it turns out, our 2955RL is 33 feet long.

When you pull in to a state campground that has a limit if 30' I just point to the sticker and say it is only 29.55 feet long.

Thanks everyone, I did the tape measure "test" and I was just very surprized. Do to a back surgery 3 months ago that went bad and led to, two more surgeries and 3 weeks in the hospital. My wife and I have'nt spent one night in our new to us 5th wheel, We bought it in Sept. 2016, But yesterday I deliverd to a RV shop in my area that is installing a Renogy 400 watt solar system with a 2000 watt inverter/charger. A job I was going to do myself, but with the my back I had to hire out the job. Can't wait to get done with physical therapy and start traveling. I'm hoping with the solar that I won't have to deal with the generator and gas cans. We like to be off grid as much as possible.

Mel, just want to wish you all the best on your recovery from back surgery. Been there twice and never want to go back again. Do the therapy and be good to you back and hopefully it will be good to you. You'll ba back on the road in no time.
