3711FL

OK, who has bought a 3711FL? Looked at several floorplans a couple weeks ago. DW liked the 3711FL best of what they had on the lot. That means that is what I will like best also.

For those who have bought one, how do you like it? Pluses and minuses?

Hey BB_TX

We just picked up our 3710fl and we love it.

Storage is split up into three areas.

AC in the kitchen is loud.

We love the up front living area and everything about it.

We thought the bath area might be to small but after this weekend its fine. (I'm 6'1 medium/Big size guy).

I am glad we choose this model it fit our needs.

Yes, I have looked at the floor plans on the Montana web site. And looked at many many pictures on dealers web sites of various floor plans. And the Monte dealers we have gone to have had multiple floor plans on the lots. And there are several floor plans we found we could live with. But the 3711FL/3710FL we really liked. Also like the 3582RL. But we are still in the shopping mode and in no rush. We have had our current Monte for nearly 8 years and have been very happy with it. Want to make sure whatever we get next will be the next one to keep for that long.

Just wanting to get feedback from someone actually owning one to get first hand experience. I am the type to research something to death before making the final decision.

Although we have not seen one and do not own one, the main thing I have noticed about these models is that the dining room slide is beneath the main awning. Out 3850FL has the outside entertainment center beneath the main awning as a comparison. Not sure how much "sitting space" is lost beneath the awning, but it is worth mentioning and taking notice of. We have loved our last two front living room models and are totally happy with the layout!

Thanks, Bingo. Yeah, I have seen earlier comments about the awning and hope to hear from an owner about just how the slide affects the useable space under the awning. Don't need an outdoor entertainment center.

Have seen the 3750FL and liked it also, but did not like the walk thru bath to get to the bedroom. Have not actually seen a 3850FL but the enclosed bath looks better from looking at floor plans. I know there are still new 3850FLs available but none close enough for an easy drive to look.

Exactly, the bath location on the 3750, is why we went from the 3750 to the 3850. That and DW liked it (you know what that means)!!! The only other thing that we insist on is access to the fridge and bathroom when slides are retracted, but again, that was our preference. One thing we have enjoyed is that we can even access the dining room table and microwave (on-board generator) when the slides are retracted. We now primarily eat in the rig at rest stops when we are traveling. All that said, you know what you like and need (replace you with DW!) and I am sure the perfect rig is available, whether it is the 3711 or other. Good luck on the research and the search!

We love our 3711FL. we were worried about the lack of storage and the kichen storage, but we have found it holds more than we need. So far I have nothing negitive to say about it. The floor plan works, and We love the huge living room slide with L shaped couch. I had a few minor things I had to repair, but I was able to take care them myself. There is a little loss of space outside under the awning, with the dinnet slide out, but We are used to it from our last trailer with an island kitchen. The opposing slides with the island kitchen is a positive that far out ways the negative of a few feet under the awning. We had the dealer install a maxxair/ fantastic fan with remote in the bathroom. Standing on the toilet to turn on the bathroom fan just seemed crazy Talk about head room!

If you have any specific questions let me know, or PM me.

3711

I have had my 3711 for a year. I had a 3400 previously. I loved them both. I added an additional shelf in the kitchen closet. I think storage is fine as long as you do not add a washer/dryer unit. You would give up a lot of space. I too had a few minor problems but nothing I couldn't fix with the exception of the gray tank indicators. I like others, replaced the tires with G rated tires before I even got the rig home. A portion of the L shaped sofa stayed in the middle of the floor when opening the slide. The one 2" sheet rock screw they used to connect it had broken. Also, the recliner portion would tip forward when opened if I put any weight on the foot rest. Found that the bracket under the chair has screw holes to place screws to hold it in place, just added the screws. My two grey tanks always indicate empty. Black and Fresh work fine. I had made appointment to get repaired but never took it. The than that I absolutely love the unit. I also have purchased a sleep number bed but have not installed it yet. I plan to hook it up to an inverter so that I can adjust bed if not on electric. Hope I can easily get at DC power under the bed.

We have had ours for a year and a half and really love it. We have had a '10- 3605sa, a '07- 3400rl, and a '04- 3650rl and like the '16-3711fl the best. We are talking about maybe upgrading to a diesel pusher, so if your interested in an excellent shape 3711fl contact us.

We bought our 3710FL last May, and we really love it. We always wanted a front living floor plan since we first saw them. We have found that for the two of us, there is plenty of storage and living space. We bought the 3710 instead of the 3711 due to the refrig (rv type in 3710). Good luck with what ever brand you decide to buy.

Another quick note,
The 3710 and 3711FL's are only available from stock. No longer can be ordered as per the web site.

The 3730/3731FL is replacing the 3710/3711FL. Not much difference. Although I do like the theater seating.

Yes the 3730 and 3731 are pretty much the same as the 3710/3711. DW would miss the big L shaped couch. She loves that big couch on the 3711. I wonder why they took that away.

The l shape couch was my wife 's favorite also. I like recliners and she likes couches. Works out perfect.

We had the L shaped couch in our 3750FL. We hated it, took it out and gave it away

My wife and I purchased a 3710 last fall. We love the front living. Space is OK and an improvement from out last TT.

Yes you lose some under the awning space with the dinette slideout however that doesn't seem to be an issue for us. I can always find some shade. I think this issue really depends on how much you use that awning space. In our case, it is usually for sitting during the day and reading. We don;t miss the space that much.

3711fl

We have the 3711FL also and love everything about it, our first fifth wheel. We did however, have a problem with the staples under the rubber roof working up, but Keystone is taking care of the repair.

Since others out here also have the 2016 - 3711 FL can anyone offer insight about the purpose of the blue drain tube underneath the coach? The tube position is in about the center and approximately 8' back from the front. When we originally picked up the unit, the dealer tech went through the checklist with us, but he couldn't explain the purpose of the tube, he didn't know what it was connected to. We have the blue and red drain tubes within the fresh water compartment and the blue drain tube at the back of the camper, but we can't figure out the tube near the front center.
