After the Rally Rally caravan blog

I was asked to post some photos of the caravan from Mackinaw to Baileys Harbor. You can find the photos via my blog here

If any one wants copies of photos with larger file format, please email me.

Remember, Al and I were not on the Caravan, so, I may have some of the details wrong, but the basics are there!

(Lookie John, fancy link just for you!)

Thanks folks, but please remember, NONE of these photos are mine, they are Jan & Pauls , Rich & Helens and John and Sharon's.

I just posted em! I thought I put "photo courtesy of" on each photo, but, my connection in Baileys Harbor was a tad stinky, so, I may have missed a photo or two, in which case, my apologies to the photographer!

Helen took all our pictures. I was to busy catching up to the caravan. I swear that at times the wheels of the 3400 were not touching the road.

I think what really happened is that John (sailer) let slip information about the Hodag. And that scared off the remaining rally folks. There was no need to be scared though as it is believed that the Hodag is now extinct. It's main food source got very scarce back in the late 1890s. There have been no confirmed sitings of one in the wild since then. So it is perfectly safe to travel past Rhinelander now days, although there are rumors that there have been sitings of Illinois tourists in the area lately, now THAT is frightening... Dave

Here is the Google link true story about a hoax that took on a life of it's own. If it wasn't for the Hodag, Rhinelander would have died in the early 1900s. I gotta run, I see one in the drive way carrying sailer away... Dave

We think so, and it wasn't a Hodag that had john in its mouth it was just Beau. He only played with him till he was slimed. We have had a great time this last couple of weeks and are looking forward to the fall rally. We won't get a day to sleep in till Thursday and we are looking forward to that. I have to make a run to Rhinelander (50 miles) on Tuesday to sign some papers for the VA then Wed I have to roll out of Land O Lakes at 0630 to make a 0900 appointment in Iron Mountain VA (110 miles) for an MRI. We roll out of here tomorrow for Land O Lakes (40 miles) and home. Looking forward to some rest from all the rally and rally rally fun. Love the pics... Dave and Betsy
