MIA Back Looking at Montana

Well we've been RVing for years and looking again back at Montanas. We like the 3121rl and it will be downsizing from >36' SOB.

Question: Like the rear cap believe it just gives it a better look. What is that option gonna cost me and is there anything I should know before opting up?

Thanks!

You will want the legacy package. It is an optional package including the fiberglass rear cap among other items. in looking at the website of a local dealer it looks as though legacy package coaches are priced about 5K more.

A question about the outdoor entertainment center-- Where is it located? From the floorplans, it looks like it is outside the kitchen dining table - which in all fivers I have seen does not have storage ender it. Can you fill in this info?
Thanks.

The picture is correct. It is on the outside dinning room/ theater seating slide.

It is located outside the dining room table, and it contains only a TV. Not sure if that is what you are asking. We are also looking at this model.

Hey Tom, Yes it is recessed outside near the dining table. Kind of nice because I do not need a full blown outdoor kitchen, but the tv outside is OK. I have a weberq and small kamado for cooking outdoors which allows me more portabilty.

Thanks all. I thought it might be as you all said, but that just seems strange!!! A TV built into the wall??!!

Well no it is pretty normal it does have a sealed cargo door that protects it from the elements and during travel. I did not play with it, but assume it has a mount that allows you to pull it out away from the wall and position the angle.

Yes it does pull out and pivot for a better viewing angles. We just bought a 3701lk with the same feature, as you we don’t need the rest of the outdoor kitchen type stuff.

The one feature the HC 381TH didn't come with that we wanted was an outdoor TV. But it has the hookups in the front slide and moyrride makes a TV mount designed to pull out of a pass thru and pivot. That will allow us to add the feature.

The unit does not have an outside kitchen area but we would never use that feature anyway (I just don't like cooking right up against the campers exterior and under the awnings). With full length awnings it would not be a good idea anyway. The only part of an outdoor kitchen that would have been nice is a sink to wash my hands. We do have an outside wash down station but it is a hose and on the backside of the camper. For now I will continue to use my old faithful bucket with a spigot but in the future may figure out a way to run water lines to the passenger side of the camper just for this purpose.......
