Met another MOC member

We are in Cheyenne WY and a MOC member is parked next door to us. Talked to him and his wife. Took them some homemade cookies awhile ago.
JC Haas I think is his MOC name. Hope I have it spelled right.
Nice people.

When we had our Montana we didn't run into MOC people unless it was a rally but since we have an SOB I see them all over the place! Why is that?

Yes it was OK, better than some and worse than others. But over all a nice place. Called A B campground. On south side of cheyenne. We stayed there a week. Exit 7 off of I-25.
They have barbque every night, pulled pork or pulled beef or ribs.

We spent one night there this spring on our way north, it was ok and we didn't have to cook, the ribs were great.

Steve, ya gotta catch them on the road! I am going to stay put down here in So. Calif. and hope that they stop by and give me some.

Dustytuu - I'm sorry that you didn't start seeing MOCers when you owned your Montana, but as you'll see the member numbers are now over 9,300, so the odds are higher that you'll run into MOCers. Your number being at 2,972, well there were way less back then. Look at Steve Riegle, he is only number 20 and now his patience is paying off. It seems that Steve will wait as long as it takes for free cookies! I like the way he thinks.

I guess it it just us. We seem to have no problem running into MOC members..they seem to be everywhere.I note that thus far there are 63 MOC units signed up for the fall rally. That will be 120 + MOC members.

Art, we were at a rally with Dusty and Don a couple of years ago and last year we were in the same rv park in neighboring sites. We did dinner and some sightseeing together. But Dusty didn't give me any cookies. I figure now she owes me.

Including the rallies I figure we've met somewhere around 200 or more members (plus spouses). We've met quite a few outside of the rallies including five couples in our one month in Hungry Horse, MT. Quite a few have become very good friends and will probably be good friends for life. There are some truly nice people in this forum.

So sorry Steve... I will make sure when we stop next time in Independence I will make sure I bring you some cookies. Everyone remembers my cookies! Art N Marge, if we ever get to CA I will bring you cookies!
If you want some soon you can come to us. .
We will be in Indiana last of August until around Sept 12. Then going back to Colorado for doctor and dentist appointments, then to Texas for 3 weeks, then to AZ for winter by Nov 1st. We have been busy this summer. Traveled from Minn to Washington state. Stopping along the way.

We had our Montana about 4 years.

We are in the Colorado mountains for this month. At 9,000 feet here. Nice weather. 70s and 80s with nights in upper 40s.
