Hendersonville/Spartanburg CGs

We are traveling to Florida via Savannah, Ga mid February. Any suggestions/recommendations on an over night CG?

Thanks in advance

We are looking at Lakewood, Town Mountain in Hendersonville, and Cunningham near Spartanburg. Camp Club USA had a review on Cunningham, where the campers post "blew" and caused a small fire and zapped their Tele.

We're staying at Pine Ridge Campground in Roebuck, which is about 7 miles from Spartanburg. It's a small CG that is friendly, clean and easy to get in and out of. The campers are a mix of working folks (but no trashy campsites), snowbirds, and overnighters. Cunningham is an old KOA that has quite a few workers and is a little run down looking. We didn't care for it. If you see Flower Mill CG in Taylors, SC - STAY AWAY, FAR FAR AWAY. It is cramped, hard to get into and when some friends stayed there the SWAT team came in to arrest a child molester a couple of sites away from them.

We just stayed at Pine Ridge last week for an overnight and would recommend it. Ditto on avoiding Cunningham as we stayed there last year, unless no other choice.
