Hot wire

I have an electrical question, maybe somebody can help me with, I hope. On a recent
camping trip I had no 12v power inside the 5th wheel. I found, by unhooking the hot wire
(from the truck) from the fuse/breaker the breaker would reset and I would have power. I
have checked the hot wire between the 5th wheel batt. and junction box and the junction
box and trailer plug and found no shorts.
The hot wire (black) from the truck is tied together with two other wires in the junction
box under the pin box. The one wire ( black) runs to the battery in the 5th wheel, the other
wire (orange/black stripe) is my question, where does it go to or do?
