Its raining and cold

But, we are still packing.

brrrrr

Off to Brighton Michigan area, Bishop Lake Campground. For the weekend, part of which will be spent at Ortonville at a band competition (my nephew is in the band).

After that??

Ask Al!! Last time we went out for fall color, I thought we were off to Saginaw Michigan and we ended up in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.

Our last trip of the year (boo hoo), hope to be home just in time to go trick or treating with the twins.

(Got the winter coat packed, they say we might need it.)

Raining here in Florida but it is also in the hi 70's.

Fall color in Florida is Green or Biege. Grass/trees and sand and lots of sand.

High today of 40 with rain and 40mph winds here in Goshen, IN. Soon as our appt in Elkhart is done Monday we're heading west (not much south) to Indpendence, MO, until after Christmas. Then south. Monday or Tuesday this area is supposed to warm up again but, naturally, we're here now, not then.

High here in Nevada was 74 today but is getting cold at night, suppose to snow Monday. The trees are all gold and red. Just waiting for a strong wind to blow them away.LOL

Sounds like a nice adventure to me, Have a great time and let us all know how things are going. It looks like it will be Dec. before we can get on the road.

Steve,

It was supposed to be that windy here today, but it did not, thankfully, it is bitter cold enough. Got to say it is rather miserable, except that we have great company (good friends) and sat in the 5er and visited and us gals did some stitching projects.

Steve, let us know how the appt comes out on your axles.

We are having 70's here in California with the temps going down to the low 50's at night. Next week is going to be in the mid to hi 70's. Gotta love it as the fall colors are just starting to show up on the grape vines.

If we hang around here in MI much longer we may need more than winter coats. May need something to push white stuff around. And I swore I would never do that again. Oh well

Steve and Vickie, If you are on your way to MO. Through IL on Interstate 70, you might stop in Vandalia, IL. at the Wallmart for the night. It has a huge and safe parking lot. I live nearby so if you do plan to come this way let me know, I would like to see yall again.

Thanks Paul and Carol for the tip. The route I've planned out avoids interstates for most of the trip but we will have interstates through most of Illinois. I would have to look to find the I number but we'd go through Champaign (sp?) and Springfield over to Hannibal, MO. The rv park I've tentatively focused on is near Champaign, then one in Hannibal the next night.

It would be nice to visit with you two again. We didn't have a lot of time to chat with you at the rally but enjoyed the short ones we had. We probably won't make it this time but will try to remember you're in Vandalia. We do use I-70 sometimes.

Thanks for the offer. One of these days we'll take you up on it.
