Siding Falling off

I have a 2018 3821FB that is only a few months old. There was a bulge in the rubber molding connecting the lower panel on the drivers side just behind the big storage door. The dealer said he could fix it 90 miles after picking it up I could see the siding separating (just below the molding) in my rear view mirror. We taped it and made it a few miles to our next stop. We are on an extended trip and I'm trying to find a way to reattach it short of taking it back to the dealer. Any Ideas ?

If you pull the rubber cover off the strip you will find screws that are supposed to be holding everything together. You will probably find some that missed whatever they are supposed to be screwed into.
My bottom skirt wasn't falling off but just bulged out. Ran more self tapping screws and checked for other loose ones. replaced rubber cover and chalked the top edge and both ends.
Not a hard fix and not worth the 90 mile trip to the dealer I would think. Have heard of some that the skirt has fallen off so it does need to be fixed for sure.

Not an uncommon problem. Good advice above, self tapping screws will help. Check your fender skirts as well, I used small nuts/bolts to secure those down.

When my lower panel separated from under the rubber molding, I found that the screws under the molding did not catch the lower panel. I took out several screws and lowered the aluminum rail down and pulled up on the lower panel until I could get the screws to catch the lower panel. Put all the screws back in and snapped in the rubber molding and added a bead of caulking. Problem cured. Good luck.

Thanks so much 😀. Sounds like a pretty easy fix and good to hear I'm not alone.

Thank you 😀. Great information and sounds like something I can take care of at our next stop. Good to hear others out there have seen this issue. Thought I may have a lemon 🍋. This is our first RV and not sure what to expect.

Thanks again
