2020 Western Region Spring Rally-Assistant Wagon Masters Needed

Anyone who is interested in serving as an assistant Wagon Master for the 2020 Western Region Spring Rally, PM me. We can use two or three. One of the assistants should plan on serving as the Wagon Master for 2021 rally.

PS: No Wagon Master, no rally!

Thanks

Thank You Scott!!!!

And he's right, no wagon master, no rally. It's so easy to just participate and enjoy the benefits of someone else's work. I know how busy we can get and how hard it is to commit a year in advance. But the simple fact is someone needs to make it happen. And behind the scenes there are many experienced ex-wagon masters ready to help, so it isn't as daunting as some may think. A lot of the volunteers who host some of the individual events will also be there, whether to assist new volunteers or actually host the event again.

One more major item needing addressing is a location for the 2021 Spring Rally. We are now having to book a minimum of a year in advance as the competition for parks having the amenities we enjoy are already filling up. If you know of a park or parks similar to where we have been in years past, let us know. We need 60 spaces, decent pricing, things to do in the area, and hopefully potentially good weather (Phoenix is out). Some parks welcome rallys, some don't. Let us know.

Here is a suggestion I received for next years location. We can also consider previous resorts we have used such as Seven Feathers or Heber City.

Just wanted to let you know about a RV resort area in Kennewick (Tri City), Washington. It’s called Columbia Sun RV resort, with 115 sites and is very busy. We booked a week there prior to going to the Spring Rally in Idaho next June. While talking to the Lady on the phone, I told her about the Montana Rally in the next week and she said they have Grand Design Rallies in September there. Also for 1 week, we opted for a weekly rate of $41, instead of using the Good Sam discount of $55.

Columbia Sun is a nice RV park, very clean and well maintained. It is in the heart of eastern WA wine county and if that is your thing I can't imagine being disappointed. Don't know about their meeting facilities however.
