3820fk
We upgraded our Montana in Dec to the 2018 3820 fk. In Jan,the fridge quit. Talked to another owner of the same unit and they said theirs has done that about 3 times and they just turn off the electric at the post for about 30 min, then it comes back on. Which we did, but we also noticed that if we turned on the exhaust fan n the ceiling, that cut the power to the fridge. So I contacted Montana and she said there s an advisory on this. We contacted a mobile rv repair who said there is a problem. They have to run a whole new electric line from the fridge to the fuse box and add another fuse. This rig had the electric from the fridge and the fan together, and when both were on, it blew the power to the fridge. Anyone else have this problem?
Also have another question. The speakers don't get very loud and we have to go to the setup menu for the tv remote to get the speakers to even work they the tv. What??? Why don't the speakers just work when the tv is on? Why should we have to go through all the rig-a-ma-row?

The fan and the refer on the same 12V circuit is a known problem. You should get it fixed under warranty. Keystone has issued a technical bulletin of the problem. There are other posts about the problem. A search will show them. But is here one that addresses your issue (Posts #10, #14, #21-28) intermixed with the L1OP error.

We have a 3820FK 2017 with the same Fridge/Fan power issue, been to 3 different CW's where we had other warranty items addressed but they wouldn't touch this problem, were hoping to get it fixed at the MOC Rally finally this year in Goshen.

I called Montana and was told there is an "advisory' on this problem, but not a recall. They recommend taking it in to a place that services Montana's. Since we are living in, not gonna happen. I asked about having a mobile licensed rv mechanic check it out. No problem. Called Mesa RV since we had heard about them already. Fixed the problem in 2 visits. Had to pay $130 for that. Cheaper than the other option. He rewired the fan to it's own circuit and ran a wire back to the breaker.
