Montana 3731FL backup camera

We recently purchased a 2017 3731FL. It says it comes with a rear backup camera. Is this already installed. I see a bracket on the back but do not see a camera or monitor. Where would that be? I'm going to contact the dealer tomorrow but thought I would ask the experts first.

Our 2017 3811ms came with one. The fiver had a camera on the back of it and the truck camera that pairs with the camera on the fiver was in one of the drawers. It is much easier with two people to pair the units once you get yours. One person pushes the pairing button on the camera in the truck and the other pushes the button on the camera on the back of the fiver. Also, ours is wired in the light system so the headlights must be in the on position. Ours won't work in the auto head light position. Hope this helps?

You're welcome. Hope they make it right and get you what should have already been there? Good Luck.

Appears it was left off or stolen.

According to the specs, it is part of the mandatory residential living package. It should have been installed.

The backup camera is only part of the Legacy package. Keystone's website is very unclear, as one section says it's part of the Residential Living package under their "Features" section, but if you scroll a bit more to the "Options" it says under the residential living package that the backup camera is just prepped, and under the Legacy Package on "Options" it says Wireless rear view camera with vehicle display.

So their website is not clear, but the camera is standard on the Legacy.

Missed that. looks like they started making it optional. My 2015 non-legacy came with one. Any way to save a buck.

Our 380th had the prepped back up camera bracket but we had to purchase the camera and monitor. they installed the camera for us. In our short time of owning this monster, we've used the camera way more than I expected. Sure helps speed up the set up process.

We just recently purchased the matching camera for the pre-installed mount. You can find the correct model at Amazon, it does come with the mount bracket, but you won't need it. It was cheaper as a set.

What do you think of that entertainment system in the 3731FL? IRV34?.

It is next on my replacement list.

Well, I don't have the Legacy package but the camera was included. I guess that explains why their brochures always have the caveat that things may change withour notice.

It should've been installed prior to delivery!

Hey, was just looking at one a couple of weeks ago and the backup camera was still in the box under the bed. I'm sure you probably already looked for it but just in case you didn't. 🤣
