LCI panel hard to operate???

I am having a terrible time using the buttons on my LCI electronic panel.

It is hard to turn on and use the other buttons to move the legs.

Has anyone had this issues? Do I need to replace panel? Cost about $210...darn.

Since Lippert is very helpful, I'd consult with them first.

Yes we just had this issue. This last spring it got so bad that you needed to push the buttons in about a 1mm location in order for them to work. Lippert replaced the control pad for us despite being past the warranty period. We did have this issue documented with both Keystone and our dealer. That appeared to be the deciding factor. Now everything is fine. I am keeping the old keypad in case of emergency. I am contemplating taking taking it apart to see if the underlying pressure pad can be replaced.

Oh BTW Lippert has excellent customer service.

Same thing as PNW said with the pad from this last year. I suspect freezing caused the contacts to separate, requiring a firmer push on the buttons. It was difficult to get the unit up, in order to get it to a maintenance appointment, in which I paid the dealer to get it fixed.

Bought a spare new control panel (lci) off Amazon for $105 last year.

My 2013 is doing the same thing all of a sudden. Was it difficult to switch out the new for the old one?

You made out really good. At the time I was looking I found them for $300. I just did a quick Amazon check and they are $297. Should have purchased a dozen and sold them.

Did you purchase directly from Lippert?

We purchased our used 2014 3402rl in 2016 and the lci panel was very difficult to use. The dealership replaced the panel as part of the prepurchase punch list. The replacement panel is now doing the same thing. Called lci customer service and all I got was an offer to sell me one at a 20% discount. I could buy it on Amazon for less. Not much help in my opinion.

Same problem with my Montana. I purchased a new pad. Sounds like they have had an obvious problem.

I had the same problem last week....thought it was just my bad luck. We fulltime and stay parked, but we live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and are in the path of potential hurricanes. I was checking to see if everything was operational, just in case. Lo and behold....it was super balky. I was able to get it to work some, but not completely. Does anyone have the phone number for Lippert Customer Service?

I posted earlier on this thread about my initial call to Lippert about my keypad. I should now update. This past Monday while in Virginia on our way north to the MOC rally, the keypad became unusable. I called Lippert CS and got the same offer to sell me the second replacement in two years. I was then transferred to the Parts Department where my experience with Lippert made an reversal. After Tammy in Parts and Dan in CS realized I was stranded without a new keypad they overnighted me a new keypad at no charge. Lippert has now updated the keypad and it has a different part number. Hopefully these news pads will be more dependable than the old ones. So far I have found Lippert CS to either be very bad or very good based on who answers the phone.
