trailer movement---shaking with walking around
New Montana---I expected that with the level up system getting to level I would have a solid footing but don't have that luxury---anything I should do with the level up that will give me that solid stability---OR other ideas---do I have to put on a no shake system---and what would be a good solution?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

If you also have the rear electric stabilizer, I would use that as well. If you already have used it and still have the movement, you could try a tripod under the hitch. Just a suggestion. Good Luck

You are sitting on four rubber tires bolted to springs. It's going to move. Period.

I have a 2011 Big Sky 3580RL with the Lippert 6 Point Leveling System and the movement I have is next to none. You know you are not on a cement slab floor but for a 5th wheel it is as good as it gets. What size RV and what model is your new trailer?

About the only way to remove all the movement is to set the rig up on cement blocks with the tires up.

When our rig levels it usually has the weight off the tires. Not up in the air (although that happens also sometimes), but not down hard on the springs. That seems to make a difference. You could raise it a little manually and see if that helps.

I was going to suggest the same as DQDick. We have a 3650RK and have virtually no movement. The floor does flex a small amount as we rock in our chairs, but the RV does not move. We make sure the leveling system does take the weight off the wheels and we use x type braces between the wheels to lock any possible rolling movement. Taking the weight off the springs should stabilize the rig.

My observation is that there is great variation in how people experience this. For example, we seem to be highly tolerant of the movements of a fifth-wheel. Sometimes on the road when we remain hooked-up we don't bother with putting the rear stabilizers down. And I never seem to be in a hurry to put them down even when we are fully set up. [I'm not saying I don't do it, just that it's not a priority.]
As for the front tripod, when we bought our first fifth-wheel, the previous owner gave us the tripod along with the trailer. We used it 'religiously' for some time, but that was four fifth-wheels ago and that tripod has not been on the road for many years. Frankly, I can't tell that it ever made a bit of difference.
This is not to provoke debate about the tripod. Remember, my point is the great variety of ways that people experience the movements of a trailer. I would guess that we are in a minority, but that just illustrates the point

If they built a trailer with no give it would be to heavy to pull, IMHO

We too have the Lippert 6-point leveling system and I agree with David (padredw) that it is all in the perception. The only time I notice the movement is when the washer is spinnig a load. Other than that I do not notice it. However, when we first got the trailer we arrived somewhere late at night, set the leveling system to auto-level, and all night long I felt like we were totally rocking. The next morning I realized one set of tires was off the ground by about 2"! Put some lynx levelers under the tires, re-autoleveled and issue was resolved.
As for the tripod we did not have one until we installed the washer in our front cap. It helps with the movement when the washer is spinning but you still feel it.

We have the 6 point leveling system and find that although we have a small amount of movement it is still MUCH better than with the former Montana. I cut 6 pieces of 2 x 10 x 12 and place one under the foot of each jack regardless of the surface we are parked on. I can't explain why this is, but really helps. I have tried with and without them.
