Stopped to help out a Ford 250 today. Nice factory spoke wheels with a flat, Lug wrench WOULDN'T fit. g Highway patrolwoman had a good laugh out of that.

I don't know, I don't think Bingo's attitude would have changed had it not been given to him free. I had to swallow my pride when I was forced to drive a Ford company car. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches right Bingo?

C'mon Phil, you have been around the forum long enough to know that if and when I do make any comments about other vehicles, it has always been tongue-in-cheek. I did request a bow-tie since it may have been an option, but management made a decision that they were not going to patronize G(overnment) Motors. I understand their position completely, considering the relentless attacks on the coal and energy industries. I have had Ford's in the past, just not trucks. One of the best cars I ever had was an 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. 4 Cylinder aluminum engine that somehow put out 195 horsepower. You should have seen me in that one in the snow and ice!!

Bingo, I don't have a problem with any of the trucks. I drove Fords for years and still like them. Currently I drive a Dodge and I love it.
One thing I've noticed over the years is the occasional rear window or bumper decal on the GM and Dodge vehicles, usually displaying a graphic about "pee on Ford." But I've never ever seen a Ford with a similar graphic about the other brands. I always chalked it up to when you are #1 you don't have to run down the other brands. And when I read comments in this and other forums, it's just more of the same. Rarely, if ever, do I see or hear a Ford owner running down another brand. It's always the other way around. That says a lot to me. Oops, maybe I just violated my own statement. I still have not problem with any of the brands. They all do a good job and at any point in time one is the fastest, one is the most reliable and one has the best mileage, etc. Just wait for the next model year and it all changes anyhow.
