Accumulator Tank for Fresh Water

Has anyone every installed one of these accumulator tanks in their fresh water system to improve the pressure performance of the system?

Thanks

As a matter of fact, I tried that a couple weeks ago. I bought the Shurflo unit for $35. When installing it, I also used a soft piece of hose between the accumulator and the hard pipes to quiet the pump down.

The results were excellent, now the water flow is even and doesn't pulse with the pump even with both faucets open. The pump also cycles less during use.

Just a thought / suggestion but you may want to add a shut-off valve of some type to the line going to the accumulator tank. That way, when (if) you winterize using RV antifreeze, you can empty the tank and then close it off - don't want the pump to fill it with antifreeze as well as your lines.
