5th Wheel Cover vs. Rain Gutter Downspout Extensio

I purchased a new 2016 Montana 3160 5th wheel which has the permanently attached rain gutter downspout extensions. I always cover my coach when not in use during the winter months. It appears that if I cover my coach it will destroy the rain gutter downspout extensions. Has anyone encountered this particular problem? Is there a remedy for this problem?

If you really want to cover the unit, just use foam rubber bundled around each gutter extension. My previous dpusher with extensions, when I still had a house, wore holes right through the cover. John

Tennis balls with a hole in them slid over the extensions?

Get a foam noodle [like kids use in a pool], cut into 3" pieces and slide over each gutter spout. Problem solved. You can get these noodles at almost any dollar store.
