Refrigerator door sticks

The left hand fridge door sticks when opening on my 3750 FL. It is really hard to open. I have lubricated the seal with 3 in 1 oil, but did not help. Any suggestions

It totally depends on whether the latch is sticking or if the seal is sticking excessively. Sounds like it may well be the latch?

It could also be that the hinge in between the fridge and bottom freezer door is a little wacko. The black plactic to the left of the door release comes off for access to tighten the hinge to fridge body, etc. Might want to review docs for your fridge, what I described is norcold 12cf...can't remember what dometic 13cf doors were built like when we had the diesel pusher. The first time we had to have our cooling unit replaced, the tech showed me a way to adjust the fridge doors. With the weight of the door, plus the wood insert, and any food in the door, it tends to bend the lower hinge down, which causes the white bottom of the door to drag on the mating part of the fridge interior. He just used a pair of pliers to slightly lift the hinge tab to raise the door a bit, and the door stopped dragging and opens much easier. Best to have another person lift the door a bit to make it easier to bend the hinge.

Our left hand door was sticking also. Found we had spilled something in the frig and it ran under the left door. What ever spilled was very sticky, wiped the area AND bottom of door with soapy water. Now the door works great.

I think we found the problem. The bottom tray had several heavy items in it and when the door was closed the weight of the tray ws keeping in from opening correctly. We took some weight out and it is opening correctly now. Will see if that takes care of the problem.

I hope other suggestions here were of help.
I would not use any oil. Use silicone spray. Even if you have to spray it on a paper towel and wipe it on that way. Do the gaskets and hinge area. It will prevent mold growth in the cracks of the gasket also.
Anything liquid substance can become sticky not just soda.

Clean with home made sanitizer or sanitizing wipes then use 100% silicone spray.

I hope it is just the shelf binding on a door bin or something inside interfering with the opening / closing like everyone else suggest.

Good luck finding the problem.

A former Sears repairman advised me to clean the seals with soapy water then wipe them down with baby powder. Been satisfied with results four 4 years.
