Central Oregon Highway
Anyone driven the Central Oregon Highway from Bend east to Vale on US 20? Any comments--good or bad would be appreciated.

Tim and Susan,
We have not driven all the route you speak of. But I can tell you that it is a "main" route. We took it from 395 at Riley to Burns. That is part of the route. Our little section the road proved it to be a good two lane road. Enjoy whatever route you end up with. Dennis and Mary Kay

We have driven it a few times and are headed West on it Saturday for the Oregon coast. It's a nice two lane with a couple of small towns in between. This time of year there is always some road construction but any delays are usually short. Safe travels!

I just got back from Yellowstone. I did not travel that route but my brother in law did in a 40' Alegro Bus and did not have any problems. The road seemed a little narrow when a semi was coming the other direction but he said it really was an OK drive.

Thanks for the info. We are going to be on it in late September as we head east for SLC.
