Ya, it's hard to tell in these small pics, but there is a "Cummins Turbo Diesel" insignia on the front fender area and it says Ford Super Duty on the side of the bed.
A real "hybrid". I can tell you that the drivetrain is very well engineered. I looked and waited for the owner to ask some questions, but never saw the guy. I wanted to drive this thing SO BAD...

FWIW: That was probably originally a 1938 Ford COE (cab over engine). It came from the factory with an 85HP flat-head V-8, 4 speed tranny and a manual 2 speed axle. I drove one for a fella I helped at hay-making time hauling baled hay in 1944 when I lived on a farm. I think it was rated as a 1 ton.

Just think how few people would actually recognize that truck for what it is. And one of those is a MOC member. What a forum!

I would love to see what this guy is towing...must be quite a sight rolling down the road whatever it is!
I love it when people take the time and effort to do something "unexpected" like this guy did! Very cool...

Since it's at a car show, maybe he doesn't pull anything. Nice looking rig though!!!!

Phil,
He must be pulling something otherwise that air hitch he has in the bed of the truck is just going to waste! That is one great looking truck.

Did I miss the interior pictures? Would be nice to see a couple of shots of the interior.
Thanks for the great picture and for sharing. Very nice. Dennis

Sorry, didn't get any interior pics! Wish I could have talked to the owner though...
Here's another truck at the show...not quite as well done, but also very "different"!

To each his own...

My wife hates them,I love them. Not too much invested and still are a great hot rod if made safe.
