I had this happen to me,what it was doing when the lights were low a meter on the inverter would read 13.8 output which is normal when lights would go bright the meter would jump up to a overload reading and shut down.Long story short I needed new inverter. The one that came with the Monty was a IOTA 2-stag battery charger, trickle and Maxi which I was told beats up the battery.I have a inverter with a 4 stage charging unit and everything been good almost a year now.
