Monty is home
Several days after we got home from the Az. trip took the beast into the dealer for a long list of minor squaks. One month later got the call that all is well, almost. Over all I am real happy with the service rep and dealership. What took so long was that Dometic took 3 weeks to get the new thermostat to the dealer. I am so HAPPY to see that remote in the trash heap. All this time was waiting for Keystone to send replacement day night shades for two windows. And then they sent one wrong one.
The bad news was that during that 3rd week 2 of the techs were killed in an auto crash. So the work schedule really got out of kilter. Services and all. It is still kinda somber around there. What little I know is that it appears the guys were racing each other and and lost control. Hit different telephone poles. WOW. How come we get old before we get smart?
After a couple of improvments, off to Shasta!!!!!
See ya down the road.

Better yet - how lucky are we to get old enough to get smart?

Dick, we still have the old thermostat in our unit and can't leave our rig anywhere. Do you think Keystone will honor the thermostat after the warranty runs out? We don't plan on being back to our dealer until September.. Five months after it runs out?

Just heard in So. Tx that if you use 75lb test nylon fishing line that it works better than came in the blinds. Will find out for sure in a day or so. Arrived back in Ky today.
