We are officially Full Timers

Well Joy and I started our new life on the 1st of March.
The house is all but empty and the For Sale sign will be up soon.
We will be heading back to Yuma on or about the 22nd.
It sure was hard to ged rid of the stuff that we had, the kids made out very well. we put the stuff we think we can't live with out in storage.

Congratulations to you both. We're really glad that part is over for you. Let us know what route you are taking on your way to Yuma. We just may be in your path. It would be great to see you again.

Congratulations, Mel and Joy. What a freeing change this will bring to your travels! Nothing to worry about back home. Glen and I have struggled with fulltiming and our most recent decision is to keep our home in Alabama and return to it occasionally to check on things. But we did find after our trip to Alaska that going home was an emotional bummer. You won't have to experience that! Have a wonderful and safe journey!

Good luck on your choice. Sometimes fulltiming sounds good to us and other times it does not so we have decided to stay with the home and "long time" for a year then revisit fulltimimg.

Congratulations on completing this step. Sure hope you enjoy your new home. The good news is that the location doesn't matter, you can move if you don't like the scenery. What a life!

Sorry to see you leave the NW. Glad that you have this opportunity to enjoy yourselves. Mel, are you still going to sea? Even though we did not get to meet up here we do plan on being at Shasta. GO FOR IT!!! Sunshine that is.

Welcome to our world. Hope you get as much enjoyment out of full timing as Lorraine and I have. When we first started this lifestyle back in October 03 we were told by some naysayers we wouldn't last 6 months. Well we've been at it for nearly 2 and a half years and see no reason to stop now.

FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST!!! We, too, are trying to sell the stick house. Had a contract, but the buyer backed out. Oh Well, back to square one. Like Yogi Barra said, "It an't over 'til it's over." Happy fulltiming.....
