Pin Decision

My Montana Mountaineer Has a stock pin box Model Lipp1116 rated at 19k. My 5er is rated at GVRW 14395 with hitch weight 2,395. I have a 16k hitch. I want to switch out the stock pin box with a Flex Air. Would I be good with a 18K pin box. Thank You for any responses. Ray

Sure, why not. The Flex Air is well above the GVWR of your trailer, and if it will give you a better ride, I'd go for it.

That is plenty of pin box for your rig. have you looked at the fifth air born pin box to that is also a good pin box!
