Nice pictures - Thnaks for the post, but does anyone notice how the extended pin sits in relation to the cap? Looks to me that the extended pin is much shorter than my 2003 3295.

I have a couple of pictures that I took at a show last week on my picture sight. It does look like it is shorter than my 2004 3295. But looks can be deceiving. Need a strait side picture.

Glenn, nice photos. Does it look to you like the pin is shorter, I think it looks like it sets way back from the nose. Graphics are great.

Nice picture. The Montana's we saw today at the Quartzsite RV Show, were an entirely different color. Take away all the blue, and fill in with shades of brown---that is what we saw. Wonder which is real?????
Perhaps it depends when yours come off the line.

The kingpin is now standard length on rigs over 34' feet. The extended kingpin is only available for under 34'.

#1- The Cap photos are of the 3295RK. I didn't pay any particular attention to the length of the pin box but you can tell by the 3rd photo that it is an extended. I will try to get some measurements the next time I am in the area.

#2- Sharon and Bob- The brown colors are the new graphic colors for 2006. These NEW graphics were brought out the end of November The blue graphics are of early 2006 models.

Just curious, Glenn... does that new cap design sacrifice any interior dimensions on the floor plans? Front bedroom closet space? Or did they keep the same interior and just push the nose out a little further?

Good pictures, Glenn. Thanks!

I guess the 34' divider for extended pin or not must be based on model number since the 3295RK is well over 34'. Ours measures 36' 4" and even the brochure says 35'10" for the 2006 3295RK.

Glenn, did you get my email about our neighbor in Independence having met you and Lorraine in Florida? I think his name was Ron. Young guy, long blonde hair. Nice kid.

My 2 cents is that you are looking at the standard pin box - pn LIPP1116. This one heads down rather quickly like the one on my 2006 3400RL. The extended pin box noticably sticks forward and slopes down less quickly - pn lipp1716.

Just my guess

Yes I did but I must have deleted it inadvertently. Anyway, was he driving a black dually, don't recall brand, and the Monty was a bit on the dirty side? If I recall he was an actor and into renaissance fairs. But when he left here he said he was heading for Louisiana and and later into Texas. Wonder how in ended up in Independence?

Yes, black dually. He and I talked prepping for freezing weather but I guess he had to find out for himself. I saw him underneath with a hair dryer and I explained about heat taping, etc.

He was in Independence because his girlfriend is from KC. They were closing out her apartment. He said they are there until the end of January. We've been watching the weather back there because of our kids. They are having probably the mildest January I've ever seen in that area. I don't think the daily high got below freezing more than maybe twice. And right now they are having 50's to 70's.

Sorry to hijack the thread. I'll cease and desist now.
