Livingroom slide tipping up when going in

We had something very scarey happen today. We had just gotten home from camping and after taking our things out of the Monty I started retracting the slides, which by the way is the 3280(three slides). The last slide to go in is the livingroom slide and it was just going in when it tipped up a little and then fell down and continued in. Wow that scared me so I called my husband Chuck in and he tried it. He put all the slides out and when he put the livingroom slide in it tipped up even more, didn't fall down, and stuck there. He put it back out and tried again. This time it worked. Anyone ever have this problem? We only used it four times last summer and this is our first time this year.
Thanks,
Sherri

I've never seen that problem but wonder if the cause might be visible from underneath the slide on the oustide while it's being retracted? Or, from the inside, can you see anything under the leading edge of the slide as it tips upward? In other words, I'm wondering if something got in there somehow and is causing this.

I had the same thing happen after not using the unit for a long time. My problem was corrected by lubricating the seals. Be sure to use a seal lube and not WD-40. I had to lube both outside and inside of the seals.

I have the same unit and the same problem, sometimes it stops when it is almost in and if I wait a second or two and try it again it comes all the way in. I thought it was a circuit breaker or an overload switch that popped.
