Sand storm at White Sands

Here's what it looks like if you make the mistake of going to White Sands during a sand storm. You'll notice in the view from the turn off just after Cloudcroft what looks like fog in the valley. Usually you can see White Sands way off in the distance looking like snow. The fog is part of White Sands passing by in the valley. The truck will have white sand in it on the day it heads for the scrap heap. Anyway here's some interesting pictures: http://s1221.photobucket.com/albums/...0dust%20storm/

I ate a lot of that sand in 1966 at FT.Bliss,Tx. The Army thought it was cool to serve lunch during a sand storm. Even the milk carton had sand in it. Bill
