Minor RV mishaps

I have my niece Penny (my sister Pam's DD) with me this week. She's fun to hang out with, mostly because she thinks her "Ant Patty" is way cool.

The bathroom door in my Mountie opens right in front of the toilet. I came back from the laundry room to "do some business" and Penny must have felt the call shortly after that. She thought I was in the laundry room, and when she burst into the bathroom, my right foot instantly became one helluva door stop.

OUCH! ...and some other stuff she'll probably tell her mother about later.

Anyway, I decided to take a warm shower to soothe my aching foot. When I put my foot up on the ledge of the shower to wash my calf, I bumped my injured foot. That made me lose my balance for a moment and my big toe shut the hot water completely off.

I am SO gonna get tattled on when we get home...

I'll bet that turned into a real short shower when that cold water hit you Pat. LOL I hope your toe gets better soon.

Ouch, that hurts just reading it! Sorry about your foot, but thanks for the story on how you increased your niece's vocabulary...

I think I'll not ask for pictures for so many reasons. LOL Seahunter, but I doubt she helped her niece increase her vocabulary since she knew "about these words being reportable". Kids can "act" so innocent.

I bet it's really hard to hop on one foot while in an RV shower and being sprayed with COLD water!

The funny part is that times like those are how kids judge if your "cool" or not. What they tend to judge is are you real. If they feel you are, then the conversations you can have about important stuff will be real also. If it comes up, tell mom you were just building your relationship.

In a previous post, it appears she was attempting to blow the RV up, now she appears to be attempting to dismantle it from inside. What's next?
