Don't know if they're like my 3400's, but I assume they may be. Mine had little plastic tabs on both sides...push down on one side and pull up on the other side and pull. Don't know which side you pull up and push down on, but if at first you don't succeed, reverse and try again. Good luck.

That's the way mine work too. I believe the tab on the left side of the drawer goes down, and the right side goes up. The tabs are small knife shaped black plastic pieces in the slide rail. As av2pilot said, if one way doesn't work, try the opposite.

This may be, but there is only about four in clearance on right side and my small hand just squeezes in and pushing up on one side and down on the other does not seem to work other than a short stick of blasting powder

Pull the drawer out as far is it will go. On the one with the little bit of clearance, use a coat hanger with a little hook to pull up or push down on the little tab. Only a little bit of pressure is needed. At the same time pull forward, just a little on the drawer. Keep pressure on it and release the opposite side. The drawer should slide out. To replace, push both tracks back in as far as they will go and align the drawer and push it back. The locking tabs will click in place.
Just a thought!

The engineer who designed that system should be assigned to a closing GM plant. Broken fingernails are painful... And the purpose of opposite direction tabs is....????????

Opposite direction tabs are a pain until you learn how they operate, but I'll bet it was cost restraints for producing only one tab. One mold, one production line.

With the extra cost savings, maybe they should have spent a little to put an instruction sticker inside each drawer explaining this unusual "tab release" setup?
