Don,
You are looking at the best generators in my opinion. Either the Yamaha or Honda are great units. Both are extremely quiet and very fuel efficient. If I were to get a new generator it would be one of those two.
I believe the Honda 3000 is quieter than even the Honda 2000. And the Yamaha is just about the same. I don't think you could go wrong with either unit.
Try checking Amazon and Craig's List. The often have units for sale.
Good luck.

3000amp or 3000 watts. Just purchased EU2000i, EU2000i-Companion, and the parallel cable in a combo package for $1899.99 on line. Best I could do locally was CW and they wanted over $2399.

Fire5er,
I didn't catch the AMPs vs Watts! Sure hope it is watts. And CW seems to always be on the high $$$ side of things. I think you'll be very happy with your generator setup.
Good luck.

Don,
Don't know if you're a member of Escapees or not but they have a Forum and often have generators for sale. Even if you're not an Escapees member you can join the Forum and participate in the discussions.
Good luck.

I do have a generator for sale, but it's an Onan 4000 and I am WAY out of your way in Indiana.

3000 amp is going to set you back more than you paid for your truck and trailer!
