New A/C
Last March on our way home from Az. the A/C stopped making cold air. We live in the Pacific NW so no big deal. In the long run it needed to be fixed. At considerble expense found out that it was very costly to replace the part that failed. Kept putting off spending that much for a new unit. Well Friday I was at CW and blew it all on a new upper unit. They wanted 98 bucks to install. Plus I would have to tow 70 miles round trip. Well I figure I can do the install. On the drive home tried to figure out how can I get this thing up on top of the rig. Can always just toss the old one over the side.
This morning found the 4 bolts that hold the A/C in place and in a few minutes had it all aready for the toss. Still no idea how to get the new one up there. My BIL lives next door. Very clever fellow. He had a great idea. The Monty is parked under a large tree. Just put a block and tackle on a branch and it was up top side.
Damm it is cold in there.
Wish I had taken a pic of the lift.
If you need to replace your A/C come park under my tree.
