Ventline vent cover

Oklahoma hail storm last night. Nice hole in my vent cover in the bathroom. It is a Ventline 14"x14". Question is "how does it come off"? I can see brads on both sides. I know some one has replaced theirs. Thanks in advance....

Dig out the caulk and look for a screw in one end of the hinge. Be sure to get the right hinge pattern - there are several different ones. I replaced a couple on the previous TT (Texas hail!!) The big vent covers are a pretty good investment because they can be replaced more easily plus the Lexan ones last a lot longer. Additionally they allow you to have the vents open while driving.

If you'll shoot me a PM with email address, I'll email the instruction sheet. Not sure I can post it here large enough to be legible.

In the meantime, don't remove any caulk. You don't need to just to replace the cover.
