Park near Grand Island Neb

I would advise anyone not to stay in the KOA near Grand Island Neb. We were there and got our spare tire stolen. The last night we were there.
I called the owner and told him we had tire stolen and ask him if anyone else had anything missing that night. He wasn't very nice and hung up on me. I just wanted him to know that we had experienced a theft. He could care less.
This park has a very serious lack of security.

Gads, Sorry bout your loss Dusty, and can you believe this, two bad bad reports for KOA, just this week, here at MOC. Like I said earlier today, just wonder if KOA has anyone monitoring these kinds of forums for bad reports. I think I would be tempted to report this person's attitude to the KOA home offices. Did you think to call the police in Grande Island??

Thanks for the warning, Dusty. I am sorry to hear about this. I have never bothered to secure our spare against theft but maybe I should rethink that.

Dusty, sorry to hear about the theft. I just walked out and checked ours because, as you know, we were there at the same time you were. I guess leaving a few days before you might have saved us from the same fate. It's too bad, that KOA was very clean and pleasent otherwise. I did see a Sheriff drive through both days we were there. Did you notice the missing tire before you left the KOA or later?
