Hopefully The pain will end..

Finally after 14+ yrs of fighting with the Drs about my back pain they are going to do surgery on Tuesday. So glad I don't have to deal with further shots that no longer work. Maybe we can get back on the road this year or early next.

Have had back sugery twice and so far so good. Still have to be extra careful because my back is nowhere near as strong as it used to be. But the pain is 98% gone.
Hope all goes well for you. Don't try to rush your recovery, it takes time. You'll probably get some physical therapy after. Just take it easy, rest up and enjoy the comfort.

Has worked well for my wife. Had lower back surgery nearly 30 yrs ago and very little lower back pain since. And she was to the point of barely being able to walk. Had 3 vertebrae fused in her neck 2 yrs ago. Once again success. They can do wonders for you.
Good luck on your procedure.

Good luck with your surgery and recovery. The past 26 months have been touch and go with mine as well. Four series of injections, steroids, PT, 4 MRIs and still not much relief. Two neuros have said they can find nothing wrong enough to operate on. After 34 years of being a paramedic, I guess I've worn it out. Best of luck to you.

I will be praying for a great outcome Dave. My wife had back surgery 15 plus years ago and she found great relief. I hope you do as well.

Good advice. Many back surgeries are unsuccessful because the patient tries to do too much too soon.

I wish my wife could have her back fixed. I convinced my wife to see about having her back operated on. She said it was nothing that could be done but she went to please me. She has scoliosis, disk disease, arthritis, and more. I saw a X-ray of her back and turned white as a sheet. I almost fainted. She was right nothing could be done.
Your back can be fixed be thankful very thankful.

Good luck with your surgery. I'll be joining the disabled May 4th for rotator-cuff surgery. I've got an 1'' tear that will have to be screwed and sewed back together. Don't look forward to the long recovery. I'm just getting over an severe burn on my right hand, arm and face just in time for the left shoulder. Two accidents in 5 weeks is to much. Hope you have a speedy recovery so you can get back to doing the things you want to do.God Bless.

Thanks for the well wishes

Thank you to each and every one of you that sent me. I appreciate all of them.
All went well with the usual hiccups. Hopefully I can get out of here tomorrow morning. I will have to use this nasty clam shell brace until July 25th (12 weeks). I hated my neck brace too but I got kind of attached to it by late June.
